New Zealand Shearing magazine is now a digital-only publication, produced three times per year – early April, late August and late November. Copies are posted on this website and also emailed to readers on request (PDF File). The magazine is also published on Shearing magazine’s Facebook page.

Shearing magazine for April 2020

The Shearing magazine for April 2020 has been released in electronic format only at this stage, with printing in hard copy being prevented by New Zealandâ€™s Lock Down status. Copies of the magazine in PDF file format have been sent by email to all those subscribers, advertisers and readers for whom Last Side Publishing has email addresses. If you would like to be added to the distribution list please send an email request to shearingmag@xtra.co.nz. Alternatively you can download a copy directly from this website.

Intentions are to proceed with a printed version, probably in limited numbers, if the lock down is lifted without too much delay. Further ahead, we hope â€˜normalityâ€™ will have returned in time to see the August edition printed as usual. Time will tell.

In the meantime, remember we are always keen to receive your stories and photographs for inclusion in future editions. Thanks to everyone for your on-going support of the magazine. Kia kaha through these tough times.

The April 2016 edition of Shearing magazine has recently been distributed to all subscribers, advertisers, rural merchandise stores and country pubs throughout New Zealand, and to subscribers overseas. Australian readers can obtain copies from Courela (Sth Australia) and Noel Lawrence (WA).

I am always looking for photos and stories /story ideas from readers and subscribers - email me at shearingmag@xtra.co.nz with your suggestions. The next edition will go to the printer 17 August 2016.
